The start of a new year brings with it the possibilities of potential.

This January I  am taking time to pause and reflect, instead of rushing into my usual to-do and self improvement mode only to hit a brick wall late February.

 

 

Over the course of this year I have been a student of Contemporary art Academy an online art school based in London and co founded by Zavier Ellis and Mathew Gibson.

The final show consisted of 16 artists of varing disciplines talking about the work on show and their art practices.

I can recommend this course to other emerging and also established artists for the knowledge and confidence gained  and connection to a growing network of artists .

During the summer of 2022 I exhibited a painted milk churn on the beautiful St Michael's Mount. The churn was part of a charity helping to raise money for Cornwall hospice, over 70 artists were asked to decorate the churns and displayed all over cornwall. I was privileged to exhibit my churn in the Dairy on St Michaels mount during the long hnot summer. In September the churns were auctioned in Truro Cathedral and raised over £50,000.
